Your Role
As a Respite Caregiver, you will provide temporary, in-home care and companionship for individuals while their primary caregiver takes time away. This care may include supervision, assistance with daily routines, engaging in recreational activities, and ensuring the individual’s safety and comfort during your time with them.
This is a flexible, meaningful role perfect for those who enjoy helping others and want to make a difference in the lives of families in their community.
What You’ll Be Doing

Provide one-on-one care and supervision in a home setting

Support individuals with daily routines, such as meals, hygiene reminders, and basic mobility (as needed)

Engage in age-appropriate and ability-appropriate activities (e.g., games, arts & crafts, walks)

Ensure the safety and well-being of the individual during caregiver absence

Follow care instructions provided by the family or care coordinator

Maintain clear, respectful communication with families and team members

Document visits and report any concerns or observations
Schedule & Compensation

Pay rate based on experience

Flexible scheduling options — full-time, part-time, per diem, and weekend shifts available
What We're Looking For
-
High school diploma or equivalent required
-
Prior experience in caregiving, childcare, or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
-
Compassionate, patient, and dependable

Ability to work independently and follow care instructions

Clear background check and eligibility to work in the U.S.
-
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred for some assignments)
-
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, walking
-
Capable of getting down on the floor, kneeling, crouching, or quickly responding to clients as needed
