Location: Los Angeles, CA + Surrounding Areas (Home, Clinic, and Community-Based Services)
Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Pay: Based on experience and qualifications

About Us

At Forum Care Group, we help individuals of all ages build the skills they need to thrive—at home, in school, and in everyday life. We support children, teens, and adults with special needs and other developmental differences using a relationship-based, client-centered approach. Our Occupational Therapists play a vital role in promoting independence, regulation, and meaningful engagement through customized, holistic support.

Your Role

As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you’ll work directly with clients across the lifespan to support motor skills, sensory integration, self-care, and participation in daily routines. Whether helping a child with sensory challenges navigate school activities or guiding an adult toward greater independence in their community, your work will empower real-world progress.

You’ll collaborate with families, educators, and an interdisciplinary team of clinicians to deliver high-impact, individualized therapy—in homes, clinics, schools, or other community settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive OT assessments and interpret findings

  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans focused on functional goals

  • Address areas such as:

    • Fine and gross motor development

    • Sensory processing and regulation

    • Executive functioning and task management

    • Activities of daily living (e.g., dressing, feeding, hygiene)

    • Environmental modifications and adaptive strategies

  • Deliver therapy in home, clinic, school, or community-based settings

  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and team members to support generalization of skills

  • Educate and empower caregivers with strategies for daily routines

  • Document session progress, goals, and client outcomes in a timely and clear manner

  • Participate in team meetings, clinical supervision, and ongoing training

What We’re Looking For

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of California (OTR/L)

  • Passion for working with neurodivergent individuals and their families

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Experience with both children and adults preferred; open to applicants with a strong interest in either or both populations

  • Open-minded, creative, and committed to client-led, strength-based practices

  • Reliable, organized, and able to work independently across various environments

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for community and home visits

Schedule & Compensation

  • Full-time and part-time positions available

  • Flexible scheduling to support clinician wellness and work-life balance

  • Compensation depending on experience and credentials

  • Opportunities for specialization, continuing education, and leadership
